not even serious driving shenanigans on my part (getting lost multiple times, parking 20 minutes away from the stadium, etc.) can dampen my spirit right now. soccer is amazing in person, and with a nearly-packed stadium as opposed to the emptiness that was the Timbers game I went to a couple years ago? amazing.
and next weekend's ALMS race is scheduled for 5:00 saturday night? sweet. can't wait for the evening racing. should be awesome. I've been out to race weekends, my dad and I go mostly on Saturdays - which aren't when the 'real' race are, just qualifying and practice, so getting to see a real race will be fun.
